Design and Quality: Design-wise, the whole setup looks very unique. The soundbar is full black with some sliver accent just before the edge. The shape of the soundbar is very unique, with metal grilles covering the front and the side. The rest of the soundbar is made of plastic. When we decided we were going to test the Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 Soundbar, we didn’t really know that whether we should call it a soundbar or something else?

By purchasing this package, you get a speaker enclosure with eight drivers, amplification, HDMI pass through, surround sound speakers and wireless subwoofers. With all these adjustments, you should better call it a small home theater system that is only missing AVR.

The Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 Soundbar isn’t an inexpensive soundbar. You will be spending more than $1000 on this purchase so we won’t really suggest that you go for it if all you’re looking for a moderately better sound quality. Invest in this bad boy if you’re setting up your own studio or an extensive home theater system.
